PLANNING PHASE
Our teams conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to fully understand their needs and expectations on every given search. We study the competitive environment that may attract similar talent, and then research the market to determine target companies and candidates within those companies from which we can recruit. We use a variety of innovative tools alongside direct recruiting and networking to find strong talent for our clients. We act quickly during this phase as our clients depend on us to have a strong sense of urgency in filling their critical positions.
SOURCING
Our next step is in contacting prospective candidates. These are sourced from our multi-million person database, as well as through our constantly updated mapping of talent in relevant positions. We constantly work toward defining those who are in a position to consider a move that benefits their career and family. Candidates are often inundated with agency phone calls, and since they are typically busy and not always motivated to pursue a new job opportunity, our approach is to listen to the candidate and develop a relationship of trustŠthey need to know that we have their own welfare at stake, and are not only acting on the needs of our client, and our reputation as both a client and a candidate advocate precedes us, so we often are provided access. Therefore, it's important to learn of our candidates' personal and professional goals and how they are or are not currently being met. Personal interaction allows us to best match them with the right company environment and position, and we are able to sell the opportunity by aligning their needs and wants with those of our clients.
CLOSING
Another area where we take great pride is our ability to close. We manage the process from beginning to completion. The end of the process is perhaps even more critical than the beginning. We make sure our clients hire the best possible candidate and our candidate accepts an offer they are excited about accepting. We work diligently to manage client and candidate expectations and openly facilitate communication throughout the process.
